Its been MONTHS! almost as long since my cameras even been a fixture in this house.
I have done a few shoots casually since..but nothing serious. Then my computer crapped out and my editing abilities went from mediocore to non existant. I just cant. My calibration is off..and until I have an actual monitor, and not a 42 inch television, I can not edit properly.
A lot has happened. I have developed wonderful friendships with neighbours, had a baby, and started babysitting full time.
Elliott Ryan was born September 3rd at home weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. 37 weeks! We welcomed him exactly a week and three years after his big sister Sophia. They shared a due date of September 21st..and their labours were so very similar. One day I will write out Elliott's birth story..one day. As it stands I am taking things one day at a time.
First thing is first..bringing out my camera again. Life was so much more...purposeful when I was teaching myself. My editing is on the back burner..but I can try and perfect my pictures straight from the camera. Which has always been my goal.
On september 10th my big girl turned THREE!!!!!
